It’s been awhile since my last post. My day job is definetly been cutting into my personal hours. Those three week trips to the far east tend to take it out of you and my latest bout of jetlag had me sucking fumes for over a week.
But I was hit with some good news last week. I received the signed copy of my book contract and my advance. I had a nice phone call with my editor before I left for China and she let me know that H&H was finishing up on its 2007 realeases and that she would be starting on the 2008 releases in August.
So, I am ready to get back to work on the final stages of A REASON FOR DYING and see it through to print. It also dawned on me that soon, I’ll be very busy preparing for the release and promoting the book.
I’m still looking for a web designer (one who works inexpensively) to fine tune my website. I also need to start preparing a press kit with Q&A for interviews. I’m told that I’m more likely to get a last-minute interview on TV or radio if the producers don’t need to do any work.
Then there is A REASON FOR TERROR. I need to get it moving in the right direction.
