Road to Publication Continued
As Inigo Montoyo said, “I hate waiting.” Of course he had an intriguing Spanish accent.
That’s what I’ve been doing. Waiting.
Well, not really. I’ve been trying to keep occupied. Tomorrow, I get my headshots taken by a professional photographer. I’ve been told I need to get a release to use them freely on my website, book jacket, etc.
I talked to a friend, another Hilliard and Harris author, tonight. Laura Bradford. Her third book, Marked By Fate, was just launched (see below). In fact it appeared on Amazon today. Turns out, the publisher is really busy with Bouchercon, a major mystery writers conference and their spring release.
I guess I have to wait my turn, but it doesn’t mean I can be frustrated. I need to focus my efforts on my second novel.
God I want patience. AND I WANT IT NOW!
