Road to Publication
First off, my day job has me very busy. There have been a number of high profile projects on my plate. Second, I received comments on my novel by an agent, a St. Louis Writers Guild member and the chief editor of a small press. I have been putting all my spare time into my novel. I think I’m getting close. Some cautiously optimistic news. The Small Press editor wants me to re-submit after making the revsions she suggested. I’ve also just had an agent request the entire manuscript. Lastly, I met another agent at a mystery writers conference this weekend and she also wants to see a partial.
So, I’ve finished my revisions. Well, for now. In several weeks I’ll be heading back to China for at least half a month and I’ll likely be spending more time there the rest of the year and into next year.
I also just put the finishing touches on my gruesome short story I’ve been playing with.
